Simplicity has always inspired me – the crispness of continuous line, the contrast of black silhouette against bright background, the vibrant gradient of the sunset filled sky – all of that allows the mind to fill in other details. No need to ask unnecessary questions, you just know – these two like each other.
And they like their guitars… and playing them on the boardwalk in Berkeley, CA.
The day I was taking family pictures of Daylin and John the “parking gods” were smiling upon us, we got a parking spot right next to the hidden fairyland, a place which I have found a few years ago on my first visit to Berkeley.
The area’s unbelievable charm has always drawn me, but for now I had to be happy with just visiting and taking pictures there.
